Biography
Amydala is a force of rhythmic evolution. A DJ whose identity was forged on the dance floors of outdoor patios in Lexington and refined in the industrial heart of Detroit, she has transitioned from a dedicated listener to a pivotal architect of the Kentucky electronic music scene.
Her sound is a deliberate study in contrast: dark, hypnotic, energetic, and bouncy. Whether she is navigating the deep, driving corridors of techno or the infectious grooves of house, an Amydala set is never a static experience. She treats each performance as a unique, non-linear journey, ensuring that no two dance floors ever hear the same story twice.
Beyond the DJ booth, Amydala is a community builder. As the founder of two distinct collectives—Sirens of Sound, which champions women and the LGBTQ+ community, and the techno-focused Do Not Disturb—she has dedicated her career to creating safe, expressive spaces.
